Tuscan style dining had guests flocking to The Pot Kiln pub and
restaurant on Wednesday for its first ever themed evening.
The Tuscan evening was hosted by chef owner Mike Robinson with
Count Francesco Mazzei who has been producing some of the best
wines in
Tuscany
for hundreds of years.
A wild boar spit roast was already well underway as guests
arrived and this was later served as part of a stunning six
course dinner featuring Tuscan food cooked using wild
ingredients, cooked simply.
Guests sat at three large tables, Italian style, and mingled
inside and out, enjoying the picturesque setting at The Pot Kiln
and the glorious summer evening.
Katie Robinson said: “It was a perfect evening and we were
thrilled that everybody enjoyed it so much. We had guests come
specially from as far as
Carlisle
and
Kent,
which is amazing, and we’ve already had several complimentary
letters.
“We are planning more themed evenings in coming months, so if
anyone is interested, they need to keep an eye on our website
where we will announce the next date.”
