You can, of course sign up to our news letter to keep in the picture.A new ITV program “Countrywise Kitchen” starts on Monday 11th July. The series lasting for 8 weeks is presented by Mike and you can watch him cooking in the Cookery School in Yattendon as well as other locations in the area.He has just finished writing his new book, ”Countrywise Kitchen”, to accompany the series and this will be available very soon.Mike is now appearing on “Countrywise” on ITV1 as a regular Presenter. A special edition, “Countrywise at War”, featuring the Potkiln and local personalities was broadcast on 8th August.The first of his new series of DVDs illustrating all aspects of stalking wild game, through to preparing and cooking has been launched - “Summer stalking in Scotland - Red deer stags”. Naturally the series is called “Hunt, Prepare and Cook”. The next one on stalking Hinds in Winter is about to be released.Mike's book "Fit for table" was launched last September. This groundbreaking book is not a cookbook at all, but instead a pictorial and step by step user guide to processing and preparing game and wild food. Covering everything from deer to squirrels, this book will show you how to take a game animal or fish all the way from field to table.
